The ultra-fine variant in the SafetyGlide range, the 30G x 8mm combines a short, ultra-fine needle with BD's integrated post-use safety shield. At 30G x 8mm, this is suited to superficial, precision work where the smallest possible entry size and shortest depth are required. The shield activates with a single-handed sliding motion after use — no separate sharps disposal step needed at point of use.
