The BD Blunt Fill Needle is a specialist draw-up needle designed to solve a specific problem: coring. When a sharp needle punctures a rubber vial stopper repeatedly, it risks cutting small fragments into the fluid — an issue the Blunt Fill Needle eliminates. Its non-coring tip pushes through septum materials cleanly without cutting, keeping drawn-up product free from particulate contamination.

At 18G x 40mm with a 1.2mm outer diameter, it offers a wide bore for efficient, high-flow draw-up from vials and ampoules. Compatible with all standard Luer lock and Luer slip syringes. EO sterilised, latex-free, individually wrapped.
